Apply the oil to your skin and massage it in using long strokes. For a more comfortable experience, massage from the heart outwards rather than towards the heart. Alternate gentle stroking with firmer strokes and more pressure to ensure any muscle tension is released.

For an enhanced experience, warm the massage oil in a hot water bath before applying it to your body. Pour the oil you wish to use into a small drinking glass and place it in a bowl of hot water for five minutes. Hot tap water of around 45 degrees Celsius is perfectly sufficient. This will also release some of the essential oils into the air, creating a wonderful atmosphere with your chosen fragrance.
