Cobeco's 100% natural lubricant contains carrageenan, derived from red edible seaweed. In addition to its thickening properties, it appears to offer remarkable health benefits. Dr. Schiller's research group at the National Cancer Institute in Bethesda, Maryland (USA) found that carrageenan is a highly effective infection inhibitor for a broad spectrum of sexually transmitted HPVs (Buck CB, 2006)*.

The German Association of Industrial and Trading Companies for Pharmaceuticals, Health Foods, Dietary Supplements and Cosmetics (BDiH) has certified Cobeco's 100% natural lubricant as meeting the "Natural Product Standard." A product bearing the NPS mark "Natural Product Standard approved by the BDiH" guarantees that the lubricant is 100% natural. Until recently, there was no certification mark for natural medical products such as lubricants. Therefore, in January 2014, the BDiH developed the "Natural Product Standard." How does the product work?

Apply the desired amount of lubricant to the selected areas of the body and spread it over the skin. The water-based formula gives the product a light and easily spreadable texture that is neutral to the skin.

This lubricant provides a soft and comfortable feeling during use. A water-based formula like this is largely absorbed by the skin over time. Apply additional lubricant during use as needed to ensure continuous, comfortable gliding. This lubricant can be easily washed off if required.
